Why Bush to Clinton just doesnt work out
Published on July 11, 2005 By Quasith In Politics
Before I say this, duely note that I do not support Bush. But we are stuck with him and people need to stop comparing his run with Bill Clinton. Sure Clinton led us into a great economy. Bush didnt. Bush had one of the countries major cities savagly attacked. Clinton didn't have to deal with the failing economy for months after. Bush did bring it back up. It just still sucks. No blogger has the right to judge beyond the way a citizen would. Despite Bush's presidency and (questionable) military career, he has done a decent job given such horrible circumstances. And as bakerstreet pointed out to me, calling someone a 'redneck' only shows your own ignorance, no matter how ignorant teh person your talking about is. And thats not to say that Bush is ignorant. He knows what hes doing and has made mistakes, but I doubt any of his critisizers (outside of other politicians) are in the position to do so. He's done shoddy work with unworkable materials, and thats all we can ask. So stop complaining about him think about a fight you can win... no amount of blogging is going to get him out of office.

Thanks for making me spit my pepsi out all over my screen. Baker gave you some moralistic opinions over the fact that name calling equates only with 'ignorance'? Good Lord what a thankless individual. This is a fully loaded incident which I'm sure gives creedence to the idea of anonymity. Quasith I have to say that I said the very same thing to BakerMan word for word and he didn't have anything to agree on about that one. It's a good lesson to those who wish to see what people like me are up against when it comes to shedding light on reality and real events and real incidents which don't show up on our screens here. No wonder the majority of Americans still believed that the US found WMD in Iraq. Thanks FoxNews for all your reliable reporting. Anyways I was swallowing some petty insults and I stated the very same thing. That insults, no matter the root, only fit into the ignorant category but yet the ones like the moralistic Baker ventured on with the same ignorant insults. Just so you know. Maybe if people could admit when they're wrong or at least agree with a supposed opponent when that opponent is right. I have to problem with that and have done so many times. This Baker may come off as a moderate and fair fellow but he's never shown me any courtest or respect. And when he sees this and goes on telling you about how my content is unique and different and warrants the contradicting of facts for his own common good disguised as the common good of America, keep in mind that though his way may be good to some, it's still based on a lie anyways so have your moral victory but at least admit you're full of dung. Baker says insults are signs of ignorance....someone owes me a Pepsi. Ha.

Good article. I don't agree with all of it, but I appreciate and respect the point of view. For the record, I don't think Bush is a saint, not by a long shot. All we are ever going to get is a choice between evils, though. Bush's conservativism, "neo" though it may be, appeals to me more than those further to the Left.

"Maybe if people could admit when they're wrong or at least agree with a supposed opponent when that opponent is right."

I have to agree about the respect part, since I don't have a scrap of respect for you, R.H. People who title their blogs "Jews are a Disease", don't deserve my respect, even if they veil their antisemitism in holocaust revisionism and "free speech."

Courtesy, on the other hand, I think I have shown you quite a bit of. You are free to post on my blogs, I just ask that you don't turn them into conspiracy freak soapboxes. I read your articles, which most of the time I wouldn't when someone is as off-base as you. Heck, I even comment, and though you differ with my take on your stance, at least you have to admit that I don't make stuff up. When I talk about you I quote you, and state my opinion of what you've said.

What annoys you is that I don't make it easy for you to crap on people's blogs without dealing with your body of, let's say, "questionable" work. There, that was courteous, wasn't it? You know as well as I do that in real life, your "theories" would probably have you picking up your teeth if you spoke them publicly enough.

Regardless, this blog wasn't about me, so you should show some courtesy to the author and at least pretend to be interested in the point. Anyway, I don't recall ever saying insults are a sign of ignorance. Feel free to point it out and I'll apologize.

My point to the author here was more "Know your enemy." If you are going to fault the oil industry, you would do well to consider that Rednecks are the least of your worries. By "ignorance", I meant assuming that the people you oppose are one thing, when in reality they are very different.

As a matter of fact Baker never said that insults are a sign of ignorance, and if I led anyone to believe that that is a miscredit to him. He said that the word redneck is biggoted and using it is ignorant, not insulting the people I was insulting. Baker HAS been gracious to methrough my rather half-baked opinions, which I will stupidly stick to, and I mentioned his name in saying tha thte word redneck was too harsh for Bush. I see that the entire bottom half of your responce is about how he has never been nice to you... and on that I would like you to note that Baker and myself have two different opinions that we can agree to disagree on. If he refused to agree with you then Im glad, because I never will either.

While I don't agree with you, there are two things I will say for your article...

~You did an excellent job of stating your opinions...

~Any article that can piss Reiki House off like that gets a cookie from me!! ;~D
